Miranda Willis, CSW- Executive Director
Ms. Miranda Willis is a Campbellsville/Taylor County native who graduated in 2014 from Centre College with an undergraduate degree in Sociology. She is a member of the sorority Kappa Kappa Gamma. Kappa Kappa Gamma focuses on leadership and service among other things. A main focus of KKG is achieving a lifetime commitment to community involvement.
In 2015 Ms. Willis was accepted at Campbellsville University in pursuit of a Master of Social Work degree. As a practicum student Miranda was placed with Green River Ministries Homeless Shelter. This began a partnership that developed into Miranda’s first position as a Social Worker. She was then promoted to the position of Executive Director in May 2017.
Miranda cites, “The services we provide at Green River Ministries are unique; they truly are client specific and strengths focused. Two people who appear to be exactly the same on paper could leave our agency with completely different Action Plans simply because their wants, needs, and motivations are dissimilar”.
